I would say as a responsible dog owner x3 you can tell who will take to your dog by there body language, we always keep ours on the lead (really want to let the youngest off) but give them a tug if they bound towards a non dog person. Poo is a pain but always lift it and bin it as its not fair for others to stand in it or even see it! We will take our youngest away next time but leave the older ones as they are not very sociable these days.

Better yet, get two cats! I have two, and my fella has two siberian huskies and we, erm, tend to keep them apart considering the dog thinks they might be food .

He loves other dogs though, just can't eat a full one
