It's time for our second annual habitation check but I was not too keen on paying the £230 for the annual check plus £35 for greasing the Alko chassis that my supplying dealer quoted plus the cost of a tank of fuel and the (free) overnight stay that I would have had.

I contacted Swift who e mailed back to confirm that as long as the check was done by an NCC approved workshop, it would not affect my warranty.

A reasonably local technician duly arrived today, worked on the van on my driveway, gave me a written inspection report and charged me £110 for the job.

Based on my experience, the NCC website is therefore recommended :thumb:

All NCC approved workshops can service UK built vans without invalidating manufacturers warranty. We all have to meet certain standards and hold the relevent qualifications / certificates before being approved , then audited every year. We cover most of the UK with both fixed and mobile workshops.
