Oops. My humour is shit sometimeIt's Penon de Ifach at Calpe as someone else has guessed,we seem to be losing the Fun factor on the forum this weather going by the amount of sarcastic comments. Is this due to my Motogp faux pas or the way things are going as i have seen quite a bit of this lately. They have improved the path after the tunnel and removed the gate but definitely not wheel chair friendly.Think my days of contributing on here are coming to an end.

The one where you said that I was someone else that you were going to block.
A d what Motogp faux pas?
Is it Calpe?
Or are you on about the pink freckly one, with the obvious horizontal foot-holds running across it?

Hi,Well done Trev, I have been as far as the tunnel, and the path was closed ( thank God ) But Janie and the gang want to go up there, so I told her and I would say she is already planning. Bob.
Ps If your around Javea anytime you could go up Montgo, I have many happy peaceful hours while their up there.

Hi,
We had a ride from Calpe to Denia the other day and did have a look at Montgo, have thought of climbing it. @bobandjanie Is there anywhere good to stay there?
@BMStewart2004 Did that last year on my 29r MTB,took me 3 hours 25 minutes but also gave me an infection which had to be treated with antibiotics. How about riding up Mont Ventoux on a push bike rather than motorbike - now that is exercise

More fun and less strenuous camping at the top. Had to turn the van around to face the wind at 2am as it was rocking so much & the bike cover got torn to shreds. They don't call it the "Windy Mountian" for nothing. How about riding up Mont Ventoux on a push bike rather than motorbike - now that is exercise
Relentless not boring, first time i stopped my legs were like rubber and I fell over and gashed my elbow. Started at Bedoin.Went up on Gran Fondo Mont Ventoux in June. 29 degrees in the valley, 10 cloud and wind at the top. Not a very nice climb as they go, boring through the tree's. Stopped to pay respects to Tom Simpson memorial.
