After 3 years of visiting shows then ordering a Rapido 881F, bust the budget, but you only live once, we are off on our first trip to Europe. Big thank you to the staff at Autogas2000 where we popped down to have Alugas MV bottles fitted. Well please! Chris, John and the staff were brilliant and the over night stop was very restful. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Some bit and bobs for the technical – We have a 4.250 tonne chassis and weighed in at just under 4.00 tonnes. That was with full gas load, 125 liters of water, full diesel tanks, tandem and single bike on the bile rack plus 2 sets of skis and boots and all the ensuing clutter!

Having weighed the van with only us in it, no bikes or water we came in at 3.5 tonnes – so our clutter and stuff plus water comes to 500 Kg. Of more interest was the axles loadings with the front at 1.720 tonnes (Max 2.1 tonnes) and rear 2.250 tonnes (max 2.4 tonnes) so as repeated many times on this forum before you buy look at the payload and what you plan to do!

Anyway enough of that looking forward to the trip we will probably write a blog of sorts so will post the link here at some point if folks are interested.
