Well i bought a Clarke Generator a few weeks back and as we were away on a weekend with no hook up a took this lovely thing of beauty with us..

Saturday morning no rain sun shining i got the little beast out and got it ready to fire up,

Choke on (Check)
Fuel on (Check)
Engine switch on (Check)
Eco Switch off (Check)
Holding pull grip (Check)
Pull Pull cord (Check)
Pull cord in hand and not attached to generator anymore oooopppps (Broke)

But engine running sweet and lasted plenty of time and did well hahahaha

So its a one pull throw away generator hahaha

Took it back and changed it today well i walked into Machine mart and thank god i was in the MH as he said to me "Is it urgent you need this fixing" i pointed at the motorhome and said "How about now as its my only 240v power" he swapped it there and then.. ::bigsmile:

All good

but dont be put off its a great generator lol....

Its not just kipors that are made of sweets..

Can't remember ;)
:ROFLMAO: Sounds to me more a case of someone needing to learn that the starting rope is only a couple of foot long - not 6 ft :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

What you need to do is tie a lump of very strong rope from your knee to your wrist, just longg enough to allow a full pull on the start cord.
If it does not start, you get frustrated, pull harder which will cause a kicking motion .. that will kick the genny away at which point you can go get a cuppa..
