Amateur radio antenna (1 Viewer)

Would anyone know of a company that can repair antenna rotators? the model being a Kenpro KR 600 RC.Any help would be appreciated.

is it the motor or the gearbox? look locally for a company that rewinds electric motors if thats what is at fault. gearboxes are not so easy to fix

Its a suspected faulty pot in the rotator.

any specialist radio shop will help. the shortwave shop in christchurch is good but may be a bit far to travel. if you can dismantle and send the faulty controller in by post they may be able to help. or what about the company that supplied to you

Its my Dads rotator and i think they went bust or just closed up as did many of the shops that were dotted around.I think he is going down the route of buying a new one and maybe put the other on ebay for spares or repair.I have been told that parts might be obsolete as it dates back to 1985 although not been used for many years but not left out in the elements.His passion has been rekindled and we are just waiting on a new mast to be made.The hole has been dug and the ballast and cement waiting to be mixed and poured.Also waiting for the tree surgeon to come in and take 12' off the top of the old oaks.
