I notice some photos appear full size on a Fun post and others appear as attachments.

I read Our Leader's (may his name be forever praised) teaching video and understand that to have a photo appear in the post itself the photo must be posted on the internet somewhere.

Am I right in thinking you Funsters who post these pictures directly store your photos in some sort of "Cloud" thingy?

I have always been a bit "Luddite" about keeping my photos up there...

No solution for me... unless... ?

Am I Right In Thinking...

Only if desperate :roflmto:

I would never use cloud storage for anything. In many cases, contract terms mean that security, privacy, copyright and ownership rules can be changed by the cloud providers at the drop of a hat.

Unless I am using the Insert Image tool to point to a photo on the web somewhere I always use the attachment facility to upload a photo from my own machine.

If I open a photobucket account does it grab all my photos and put them on display to the world if I press the wrong button?

Worried about the 2 inch nails photos...

No, photobucket will only display the photos you up load. Its free, and very useful.

I just watched the video I pointed you too and it showed a Flickr account rather than photobucket. Flickr is not now very/any good for sharing photos on forums as it protects the photographers copyright and its not as easy to get them to display here.

I will make a new video showing how easy it is with photobucket:thumb: (but not today)

Only those you upload to their site Are available To post & view

Don't think they can steal them through the back door so to speak

And they are delectable by you from that site
Bit awkward to youse getting the right link to post
But if I can do it with my limited knowledge

You and superior talents will have no problems:thumb:

I'm with you on this one, JJ.

Some of this stuff is Greek to me, couldn't even resize a pic for my avatar.

One of my people is very good at this sort of thing, ain't ya, Jaws?

I use Dropbox as iPhone & iPad etc upload automatically when on a wifi network.

Tried photobucket, but the method of uploading seems to work the other way round than my brain.

Flickr didn't work at all for me.

If your pictures aren't too big you can put them in a MotorhomeFun album and then link to them in your post. Sometimes they get a Fun logo embedded in them...

and sometimes not...
