Since April 1846 but have always camped.
I am new to satellite setup and currently have a multimo but getting fed up of standing out in the rain to set it up! So thinking of treating myself to an Oyster 64cm self seeking but not sure how it will look on the top of my PVC !

The question really is, how do I know if I am looking at Astra 2 north or south or Astra 2A,B,C,D ?
Or doesn't it matter?

Many thanks.

The Astra 2 satellites are clustered close together so, for practical purposes, it does not matter which one you aim at. The dish will 'see' them as being in one location. I tend to leave my Camos dome controller set to find Astra 2 S (although I use signals from Astra 2D).

The direction is generally south, 28.2e the satellite is is 2d generally used. You have to b a little careful as two of them are very close, to be honest a good meter helps a lot or some of the cheaper receivers with a proper indicator.

Multimo

I have had a Multimo for the past 6 yrs and love it. Is TV really that necessary that you have to stand out in the rain etc>
