Are there any other manufacturers of cassette toilets, I am thinking of fitting a cassette toilet but the standard thetford one is too wide, I only have 55cm width to play with, the other smaller thetford ones are a bit pricey!

There must be someone else out there making them?

Yeah I already have a porta potti, but my bathroom has the shower at the front and the wash basin at the back, if I forget to move the toilet before I drive away it falls forward the first time I brake and then the contents spill into the shower!

I can't leave the toilet at the front cause then I can't use the shower.

I can't buy the thetford its too wide, except the ones with the rotating bowl which are £350.

Far too much, I'd happily pay about £100 ish but not £300 just for a toilet! I could get a whole bathroom suite for the home for that.

Not very many alternatives. Fiamma do an equivilant to the portapotti (the Bipot) but again they provide no means of fastening them in place.

I have used them in several of my earlier vans, by constructing a specific location along the lines of an open top box which the toilet sits in to stop it moving around or tipping.

I agree, far too much money to spend a penny:Doh:

Dare I mention that less fierce braking might solve the problem?

I have a Porta Potty and it hasn't tipped over yet...

JJ

I wish I hadn't said that... bound to happen now...
