We too still have our Quechua from our Bongo days. We've carried all over Europe for a few years, it stores away easily - you can even hook it on the headrest over the front seat backs. (Does that make sense?) but we have not used it that often, but it came into its own on a few occasions where we had visitors, on a couple of occasions six of us sat around a table playing games in inclement weather in the Pyrenees, etc.
To make it reasonably weather proof and to easily access the van when wet we roll out the side awning a bit, say a metre, just enough to cover the tent entrance. It's also useful as a site marker/storage while off-site.
We did later find a Decathalon with some stock, so you may be lucky.

We are thinking of getting a driveaway awning for use mainly when our daughter joins us for a little more room, apart from that we wouldn't use one much. While on a site in France a couple of years ago we noticed someone in a camper using one of these

The idea would be to place it close to the van and then while we are there wind out our awning by a foot or so to cover the gap, we would wind the awning in when not there or overnight.

So has anyone here done this
Hi, we have an Event tent which came with two sides so payed extra to get two more. I happened to be in Halford yesterday and the are doing them for £120 but not sure if that includes sides.we got ours from Go Outdoors. When last in France quite a few asked where we got it.
