Has anyone experience or knowledge of removing one side of the dinette in a coachbuilt to gove more floor space.
The batteries are housed there but could I imagine be easily moved. The other thing is the rear passenger heater (one that runs off the engine when driving) is housed there too.

I think @hilldweller did that and made an L shaped lounge..

just basic carpentry.. maybe new cushions ?

The heater could be re-sited under the long leg of the L

sounds like a bit of a job..what van. if there's seats with belts above..presuming you have kids going by your Avatar?

The belted seats are forward facing so will be ok on that front. There are 3 forward facing in the back and 2 up front.

All on here together with a similar one done by another FUNster. It revolutionised our van. It was pretty traumatic when I wrenched out the seat.

Try searching on "curtains" by hilldweller. I remember saying, "we were only going to change the curtains".

That worked.....
