could anyone please tell me if the rear brake shoes of my 1999 boxer on an alko chasssis are standard peugeot shoes, OR are they special Alko shoes,,, And where i might get some.
I've not had the rear drums off yet but suspect they might need changing.

I had my 1999 Peugeot Boxer with the Alko chassis serviced at a local independant garage and was informed that it needed new rear shoes and drums. They replaced them within a couple of hours, a local motor factor supplying the parts,so they are readily available.

I had the offside rear wheel cylinder leak on my 1997 Fiat Ducato with the Alko chassis it was replaced with a new one and new shoes each side at a local independant garage and again a local motor factor supplied the parts,so they are readily available, the big problem for me was the handbrake cable which after 4 different ones from Fiat and 2 from alko we had to get one made by a rally car specialist which cost £70 if I remember correctly, but all is fine now (handbrake still crap :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:)and just scrapes through the MOT....
Have fun ,dug...........
