Quick heads up chaps.

The Boss took (dragged!) me in to our local Aldi (Northwich-Cheshire)this morning & I'm pleased to say that the pain was relieved by finding 1 Ltr bottles of caravan cleaner for £2:99.

I can neither recomend nor advise against this product cos I've not had time to use it yet, but at that price, it's gotta be worth a crack!:thumb:

If it's the same caravan cleaner we have bought from there before - it is bl**dy good stuff and will buy some more if we see it in our local Aldi.

Just tried some I remember I had bought ages ago

Superb neat for black marks
and diluted just cut though the general muck and bullets........quite impressed.

Also tred a product called "silky " which is a paste you apply with a damp cloth
non abrasive for caravans and boats.......used it on the bonnet of my Fiat
which was pretty grimy........road crap insects etc.and it took every little blemish off.......very good but hard work.

Methinks there are at least two types of this stuff, and in the same darned bottles too

I bought a couple of bottles last time it came up, as did Des.

Mine was rubbish.. might as well have been bottle water.. Very little foam and did next to nothing as far as dirt removal went

Des's stuff was amazing ! Cleaned off even thick old road grime

Pete used to use Silky on the caravan, as you say, hard work - but superb results, polishes as well as cleans.
