Morning all,

We have just bought this G742 http://www.smcmotorhomes.co.uk/pilote-motorhomes.html from SMC and love it. It was on show at the Cheshire show, I additionally would recommend SMC, great service.

The water pump is outside the tank, between the two tanks in the floor space. Historically in winter emptying a pump has been easy, power it down after emptying the tanks and open a tap or two, gravity empties the pump into the tank which you then empty again. With this system I am not quite yet sure how to empty the pump, anyone experienced this??

Hi Mark,

No intention of touching the heating here, what I am talking about is the fresh water pump. The pump is not a submersible, but lives outside the tank, I want to get water out of it in Winter. That is except we are in Epernany in Dececember and if Champers pulls her finger out, we will be skiing in Feb.
