Al-Ko Sawiko Bike Carrier (1 Viewer)

Thinking of putting an Al-Ko Sawiko carrier on my van to carry two bikes.

Have come up with a 590 Euro price through Google - seems steep - Al-Ko website does not seem to have prices for carriers - maybe one of those situations where you are directed to a distributor, who will quote a fitted price.

Can anyone give me an idea of the price? Has anyone fitted one of these? How easy/difficult is it?

Bike carrier

Alko quoted me £1900 to fit the five bike carrier to an autoroller 700. They wouldn't sell the carrier separately and it had to be fitted by their fitters. Which currently meant a trip for from Southampton to the midlands as they are building up their regional fitters.
I decided not to pursue this as the price was too rich for me. Rich

I suspected as much - well not quite that much. I could buy three Dahon folding bikes for that, and I would guess the rack weighs a fair bit too.

Like you, I will pursue other avenues. Scallywag.
