airlock in water pump (1 Viewer)

Since 2006(1986 VW T25)
We have just driven from mid Wales to Blackpool, the fresh water was showing 25% just topped up to 100% and now the pump runs on, is it an airlock if so how do I cure it. All advice would be grateful. Thanks.

Hi you have either a leak -look for water in or under van ::bigsmile: or the seals on the pump have gone :thumb: new seal set or new pump -seals are about 15 quid ish new pump from around 50 quid up --a fifty quid pump will more than likely do the job instead of replacing like for like.
Assuming you have opened the tap slowly to relaese any air out of system ::bigsmile:

Prety certain the is a mobile fitter around Blackpool --prob a lot cheaper than a dealers -sorry no idea on a name :Smile: poss, caravan doctor -

could try having pump running and sucking on the tap. does work sometimes .
best not try the shower .ha ha
