Just passing on a nice iPhone app for aires, it's in the app store and it's called "Aires CC" by David Bournisien. It's in French but easy to understand. You can search anywhere in France of just in a region and you can ask for a list of aires near you current position.

You get results either in a list or as pin on a map, you get long/lat, amenities and cost and a great feature is that you can go to a direct satelite view of the aire concerned.

So far I have found it very accurate when searching for aires I know so it seems a pretty useful little app.

I don't have a phone smart enough to sensibly handle that (old 2g blackberry), but it sounds good and could tempt me to upgrade to a 21st century handset.
