can someone please recommend an aires book covering spain france and Portugal?

Additionally how do I find out the height of my camper. the handbook I think is pre conversion.

Try a stepladder and tape measure to the highest point on the roof you failed to say what van you have plus we do not know what you have as extras on the roof.

ok thanks have ordered the books.
the ferry asks length and height of camper.

My camper is a fiat ducato mwb bessecar high top 17 foot long I think but not sure if that includes the back step or not. seems as if the ferry gives you a choice of two different heights.

Have you got a year and model number. A photo may help.
What heights did the ferry offer? ?

When you find out Length width and height write it down and stick it behind your sun visor or some other prominent place so you can refer too it when you see a low bridge or fuel station canopy.

If you have a smart phone or tablet there are apps that you can use off line that include many Aires in addition to those in the book right across Europe. One is called CampinCarInfos (if you can handle a bit of french,) the other Campercontact a Dutch site but they have an English language version. Personally I rarely use the books.
