Which aires app would people recommend to use on an android phone off line in Europe. My wife downloaded one last year but would'n work without an internet connction (dosn't matter if in French or English).

We use camper contact. Mainly dutch reviews and most of them are in the Aires book. It can be used offline. That's why I purchased it. You can get a free one but the paid for gives you many more sites.

Aires camping car, is fantastic, will work offline but far better if you have a connection , get a three sim pay and go , feel like home and you can have it on roaming all the time for free

3 sim with bolt-on for £15 for 30 days to give loads of calls, text and unlimited data - worked well for me in France and allowed good use of one of the aires apps.

I went over to three because of lamentable service and charges from T Mobile...while it works in 16 countries a lot of European ones missing..a bonus is free 4 G in London. you dont have to be online for some of the Aires apps to work.....
