AIRE IN ROUEN (1 Viewer)

Has anyone stayed on the Aire in Rouen? We want to visit the city and cathedral etc. We usually make a run for it through the town and are not too keen on a search and see mission only to find (or not find at all) that the Aire is a no go...

We stayed in june.
Great town, well worth stopping at.
The aire was a big car park near the sports centre. Right beside the river. There were a couple of long term vans there and a few tourers. Quiet at night. We had no problems, would go again.
Easy 10-15 min walk to centre.

Someone posted recently (might have been on Facebook) ref the aire at Montville just north of Rouen.
Nice village and a 20 min bus ride into Rouen. Could be a nicer location.
We only attempted to find the aire once but typical the fairground was in town and using the space.

Yes will be sure to, and the underpass etc., been caught like that before hence the reluctance to go off piste without a good reason!!
