We are looking at visiting Brussels Xmas market, we have looked at camping car info's and the only decent place is at a youth hostel but at €30 a night and only five emplacements we're not so keen. Anyone know of a viable alternative?

Hi Mike, we have found Brussels to be motorhome unfriendly. My suggestion would be to stay at the aire in Brugge and go into Brussels by train. The station is just a short walk away from the aire, trains are frequent, fast, and inexpensive. Once in Brussels the Grand Place, where the Xmas Market is held, is within walking distance of the station.
Brisey.

Thanks for that Brisley, it certainly makes good sense as the train is not very dear and it's only a short train ride

When we went last year they had special December 10euro tickets from Brugges to Brussels for day trips. It may have been a weekend only offer as we were there on. Saturday.
