I have downloaded this app and paid the £4.49 for the full version. As I have a 64gb memory on my iPhone 6 it is no problem for me to download the relevant offline maps

I am using the free version on 64gb iPad with of line maps too. No need of any other source of all airs or even Acsi book, on this you get one of the biggest source of Camps, Airs, motorhome service areas even indicating on camps if they accept Acsi card.
We use it last year in France and again now, and find very good places to spend the nights at.

What is the difference between the trial version and the full version of the app?
The trial version of the Campercontact-app can be downloaded for free in de Apple App Store and in the Google Play store. In this trial version you'll only see a small selection of the database (10%). This way you can check if the app meets your expectations before buying the full version. With the full version you will have access to the offline maps and you will be able to update the data. The easiest way to check whether the full version is active or not, is by trying to update the data. Go to Info > Settings > Update the data now.

Can't see what's special about this camper contact, that aire is in everything, it's in the alltheaires book as well

Yes link works but I don't see how it navigates to your selected site

That's not actually how it is in the app, that's why I was asking if it worked

It comes up with all your mapping things in the actual site and then you just click on the one you want to use and it then comes up like your example.

Have you tried park for night, it's free and it has camp sites , aires , farms , m way aires, wild camping even lay-bys all over Europe , in fact anywhere you can stop for the night.
In fact the bloke who puts it together used to post on here but not seen him for a bit.

yes.. had it on my phone, took it off..

also tried just about every other aires/camping app there is.. none can match Campercontact .. none of have downloadble maps that can be used without a data conection.. including campingcar infos..

believe me, I don't buy anything if there is a free version that is just as good..
by the same token, I don't mind paying for an app when it is really good .. which Campercontact is

but as Andy said.. each to thier own.. whatever works for us..
