I plan to retrofit an air suspension to a rear wheel drive motorhome. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good installer in the SE of England?

Air Suspension come highly recommended. Link Removed

Not too hard to fit yourself and it probably takes them a lot less time.

Air units will transform your handling.:thumb:

A cursory glance at your avatar image suggests you have a Dodge-badged version of the Sprinter. In which case, you might consider Glide-Rite, based in Hampshire - link below. They are the only company recommended by Mercedes to fit air suspension systems on their vehicles. I am not suggesting that other fitters cannot do a decent job; just that when I contacted MB a while back, they directed me to Glide-Rite. I never had the job done, but would talk to them first if I were to consider it again.

Hi Capac44,

I used A S Air suspension and had there system fitted to our merc Carthago. It has made a world of difference to the ride and handling, ours has the controls in the cab but you can get the inflatable system from them as well.

I did a lot of research before going to them. There pipe fittings are better than most, the bags are stronger, but most of all they have purpose fabricated fixing brackets for every model. We have done over 6000 miles through out
Italy and most of the roads where pot-hols nothing has come loose or broken on our system. the do supply a DIY kit and are very helpful on the phone to.

hope this helps you?

I have used the company mentioned below

"Hi mate you could try these people www.airide.co.uk tele:01202632456" they are based in Poole and were excellent and the air suspension has made a world of difference to an Eldis Autoquest
