if you have an alko chassis then you can only have the most expensive air suspension.

Air Ride cant be fit to an alko chassis

Good luck

Re

Cost me £480 to have the air ride fitted, motorhome does not wobble and role as much as it used to, drives a lot better.

the no name kits cheap on eBay use cheaper quality airbags and thinner hardware. i never advocate taking risks with matters like suspension or brakes

the 2 big names, air ride and drive rite are both on a par quality wise and use quality Firestone or Dunlop airbags. the brackets are reassuringly heavy on both.

try Marcle leisure for a quality kit. takes 1 - 2 hours DIY or pro fit

supplementary air suspension really transforms the handling of a motorhome

this is where we bought ours from, it then took me about 3 hours to fit it all with the twin inflators and gauge in the foot-well of the drivers door. well worth the money

Armitage at Knottingley fitted ours took about 2 or 3 hours
Made a hell of a differance to ride on road and gave us about 3 inch extra lift on back end when loaded

Hi, I have just fitted the Airride units to my Ducato and it has made it so much better, good quality and well made. The best single thing I have done to the van.

We had ours fitted by Phil at AS Airsuspension UK Ltd, Warrington, lovely people and great service. It being a Ducatto ALKO chassis required 2 days (actually 1 1/2) to fit it. This is the second M/H we've had it fitted to and I can confirm that the ride does improve an awful lot and gives increased vehicle control in high winds and when being passed by HGV's. It also gives us the clearance for getting the overhang up ferry ramps etc, without dragging our rear end. ::bigsmile:

Hi

we had air suspension fitted to our fiat motorhome and the results are instant, and keeps the leaf springs in a healthy shape on your motorhome.

massively reduces tilt and roll on roundabouts for example, and make it a much firmer ride.

Here is more information on air suspension and where we had ours fitted, excellent : http://www.watling-towbars.co.uk/motorhome_air_suspension.html

Not enough!
I've had it on our Ducatto for years and it definitely inproves the drive/ride.

The listing when being overtaking by or meeting an artic head on is now minimal.
