Has anyone got a user manual for the full factory fitted system I have a problem with the rocker switch continually flashing that is a warning and need to find out what it is, as what happened today boarding a ferry to Spain I had to get out the van twice to make sure the suspension was raised as with both up and down lights were flashing it is hard to determine.

Another problem occurred yesterday travelling down from Edinburgh to Plymouth the rear airbags failed, really scary thought it was a puncture but it was the suspension down to the bump stops, it turns out it was a price of aluminium that holds the bar that activates the valve broke and the engineer that looked at it could not believe it was so thin, so he made another one out of 8mm angle bar and also changed the other side and it was also ready to break.

Anyway back to the manual I desperately need to look at one
Thanks

Hi rrusty

Trying (and failing) to find you a downloadable brochure for AL-KO air suspension.

Are you sure it is ALKO rather than VB or Goldschmidt.

Done a bit more checking and YES i think factory will be AL-KO

Hi rrusty

I have found a manual for AL-KO premium air X4 and also VB full air, it would appear that the AL-KO system was developed by VB.

What type of controls do you have basic rocker switch on the dash or full remote on trailing lead.

I dont want to bombard you with downloads if they are not the right ones just incase you are on limited data.

Hi Martin, it is the rocker switch, it would be great if you could Email the data before 10am as I am on the ferry to Santander at the moment and don't know when I will next get internet.

A big thank you in advance.
Graeme

Sorry ment to say it is a tag axle

Hi Graeme

I can find plenty of stuff about the 4 channel jobbies with the remote on a lead BUT the rocker switch instructions are a bit more difficult.

Friends of ours with a flair had a similar signal from the rocker switch and it was a leak on the system and the pump was running all the time (you could hear it).

I will keep looking.

Martin

PS ferry Wi-Fi can be very expensive.

Hi Graeme

Sorry cant find anything specific to your system with rocker switch, I have copied the Spanish service centres from their web site but my guess would be that very few know about suspension.

I guess you have looked in your N and B owners handbook.

Hi, the internet on Brittany is free (bonus), yes the air could be leaking and that makes sense as when I lower it, it goes down but the pump keeps working and sometimes raises it again.

Thanks for the info on service centres but as you say they probably don't know about the suspension I found that out on the way to Plymouth none that I contacted of the AL-KO web site could help.

But now you have pointed me in the right direction I could try a commercial air suspension firm but now my problem will be the language barrier.

Thank you again for your help

Graeme
