hi
i have a 2.8 fiat on a 05 plate
i have a smell of oil some time when i have the windows open I have look all round and can not see any oil drops /i do not use any oil so

just wonder if this pipe should move in the picture as by the red mark it runs from the air filter

it will move a bit as its a push fit.
I dont think the smell will be coming from there....more likely the pcv valve (positive crankcase ventilation) hose if it isnt secured.

No idea where it is on your engine.

Best place to find it is to look at the air box & trace a pipe back to the engine cylinder head.

They sometimes have a box inline or as part of the engine connection & sometimes this fills with oil & vents out into the atmosphere.

Sometimes simply removing & flushing clean is enough
