We have a Hymer Eriba on a Ford Chassis. As any body had this problem. The air bag light stays on.We have
took it back to the dealer and they said it needs a new part £170 plus fitting. They have tried to reset it and they cannot get it to reset.

There was a post on somewhere this week where a van had failed the MOT due to the airbag light being on, the poster had trouble getting it fixed despite spending something like £2000 to £3000. and more trying to solve it.
In the end the advice was to take it to a good auto electrical specialist, not your average dealer, to get it fixed.

If the crash detection system is 'full and locked'
It will need a new airbag module, this would have been caused by an airbag or seat belt tensioner being detonated.

£170 + fitting would be about right, fitting should be complete within an hour, including coding in the new module.
