Afternoon all you fellow motorhomers,nice bit of sunshine up here in morecambe.Been busy today fitting LEDs inside,and removed the old hatch light to find the new one i purchased to small.So ive blanked it off with grp board,kindly given by Todds at preston,we bought a few bits and pieces there yesterday.15mins to get hatch out and clean the sealant off,new hatch went through without touching sides,be warned the old Kontikis are 470x470mm,they ave to be ordered in,other wise youve got remove 30mm from round the hatch 2 fit a 500mm.hatch but more expensive.Av a niceweekend whats left of it,safe driving:thumb:oh:

Good tip about the hatch - may be worth putting it in it's own thread though as many may miss it here :thumb:

mornin bryan,the thread about the hatch,which section would you put it in.The motorhome engineer,says the problem with the old motorhomes when you attempt tocut the xtra width,you find rotten timber,and you spend more money,it turn s into spending alot instead of a little money,all the best,av a good day:thumb:
