Hi everyone I would like some advice.
Just come back from France and Spain and have a wish list for next year.
Can anyone recommend a bike rack capable of carrying 2 ebikes and scooter on a autotrail tracker with spare wheel case on the rear.
Also recommend ebike and dog trailer for 35kg labradoodle when it is to hot for walking
Don't really fancy towing.

What type of Scooter most bike racks would carry two eBikes at around 25kg each but a
petrol scooter weighs in nearly as much as my mobility scooter so getting a rack to hold them all would be difficult
but I have hared of a rack that might work in that it is a Fixed type of mini trailer with castor wheels and as far as I can see doesn't class as a trailer in Europe but not sure about them in the UK yet
The other alternative is a small covered trailer

Hi Mikeco
Thanks our thoughts are collapsible dog cart in the van and bikes and scooter on a rack.
Had a look on Armitage website for ideas and will ring them Monday.
Don't really want a trailer.

Thanks madcaravanner I don't really want a trailer just looked at it on utube.
I'm hoping a towbar rack will work.

Had a dog trailer once and it took up a lot of space. If you have a tow bar fitted then you may find something that will take a scooter and a normal bike rack should take two bikes.

Thanks Mikeco
Problem is the rack will not be able to bolt to the back of the van due to the spare wheel case.
Like your idea of the towbar rack.

I believe that a bike rack was available that fitted over the Auto trail spare wheel, there was a few years ago as I remember seeing one fitted. the only other solution would be to relocate the spare wheel.

Hi Mikeco
I have just looked on Armitage website and hopefully cracked it.
Just need to find ebike and dog cart.
Off topic we have been on sites in France and Spain in September /October and didn't know how to recognise a funster.
Do they have stickers like britstops or France passion

fitting a scooter + rack and carrying two ebikes will eat into your overall payload and will also increase your rear axle weight , just something to be aware of

Exactly what I was just thinking!

Steve - you need to get yourself fully loaded in 'holiday mode' and then take your MH to a weighbridge and find out what your axle weights are and see if you actually have the spare capacity to carry what you wish as it will add a LOT of weight to your rear end.
