I have located a set of instructions how to upload your own POIs to OsmAnd.
It involves first using GPSBabel which is web based and I have already used, BUT it involves then using OsmAnd Map Creator to convert .OSM file to .OBF format which appears to need some techie(ish) installations for Java or something - beyond me anyway.
So, anyone out there know of a SIMPLE way of getting POIs onto OsmAnd.
