Has anyone found an advert blocker to use with Windows 10 and MS Edge?

Certainly not an order Eddie and sorry if it came over as one.

Seems like Adguard will have to be the answer.

Edge seems to be a bit like IE 11 but does seem a bit faster. Trouble is there doesn't seem to be any "free" adblockers for it so I have just paid for a Adguard licence for both my and my wife's laptops.

IE is still available with Windows 10 but seems to be slower than ever - at least on my old laptop, not tried it on my wife's new one yet.

Cheers

Dave

Edge is generally full of adverts but if the 30 day trial is anything to go by it appears that Adguard is the answer to that.

For the benefit of @Judgemental and others - I PAID for Adguard yesterday and this morning armed with my activation key I tried it out and WOW! what a difference it makes to Edge. Seems to be in turbo mode now and it has got rid of those annoying adverts that slowed everything down. Highly recommended.

I used to use both Chrome and IE 11 (on different machines) and on a desktop with Windows 7 professional I found Chrome better than IE 11, the grandchildren now have that computer and it has been replaced with a new laptop for my wife. Edge is fine on that, particularly now I have added Adguard - as it is on my laptop.

People actually use MS browsers? You learn something new every day.:D

I guess that was tongue in cheek, but yes, many people do use MS browsers. All a matter of personal choice.

I wish I could go on line with my old Acorn Electron but sadly I can't!

Yes indeed.. I use Firefox on both W7 and OSX

Page views by browser (on my blog) ..

Chrome is by far the most popular.. With FF and IE almost neck and neck.. but trailing Chrome by a big margin..
