My ACSI arrived this morn, Parts 1 and 2 of course. Price range is now much wider, 11 to 19 euros. I am coincidentally planning a trip from Santander to the med, and find there are very few ACSIs on the route, and very few in mid Spain at all. I find we are using ACSI less recently, finding that off-season municiples in France are usually as cheap or cheaper, and generally range from just about OK to really good. But the printed book is really useful, even so. But the new ACSI app looks interesting.

Has anyone got their copy from ACIS company itself , i did not get mine until nearly xmas last year as it apparently goes to Austria or Switzerland and is posted on from there,
I meant to cancel my standing order to ACIS and go to Vicarious but forgot yet again ....

I have just been on the ACSI web site to order mine and they indicate it will not be dispatched until after Christmas. As I am not in a desperate rush I have ordered direct as it has shown a good saving. I opted for the subscription card plus app and it only cost 13,95 Euros including postage which is less than £10. I used my Revoulut card and they deducted the exact invoice amount in Euros from my account. :xThumb::xThumb:

Got mine from vicarious yesterday, it fits nicely into the aire/wild camping/campsite mix I have planned.

Im a newbie
We have ordered ours through Vicarious Books, anybody received their copy from them, or know delivery date?

Bryan

Our arrived today from Vicarious .

There is a cardboard membership card in one of the books. Is this the card mentioned above or can we buy a proper plastic card ?

Also when are we able to buy the Ipad app ? I saw this on chaps Ipad in France this year and was very impressed with it !

Thanks !

Both books arrived today from Vicarious, with the option to download their new App for just €3.59. Went ahead and signed up for it, albeit a bit confusing and was then hoping to peruse some continental sites, only to find out that the App doesn't go live until January 1st 2016 - DOH
@canopus it works now.We have the app which I downloaded in Spain in Jan this year it works fine but you have to pay for the regions you want there are lots of sites on it that aren't in the books.

Think the card which comes with the books is simply your membership card which is presented at the campsite to prove current membership. The other card mentioned is available on ACSI website as a separate purchase. Same website for the app. Follow link below.

Just been onto ACSI Webshop to order the ID and while there had a trawl around the site. Had not realised that ACSI are representing 8000+ campsites in Europe but less than half that number are accessible using the discount card. I guess the others are full price sites and operate outside the system to which many of us subscribe.

I use it less and less these days and seem to get the cheaper rate anyway if I ask with or without the card, mind you don't stay on sites that often either!

Shame that the VB website does not have a "Thank you" facility, would like to have acknowledged excellent service, direct.

I'm interested in ordering the ACSI ID card, would I need to order one for each person travelling or just one for the vehicle?

Don't think so I have just one with my details on it but never needed to use it as have never been asked to leave passport.

Just didn't use acsi enough in the last year to justify it again... good system though even with the new prices.
