I understand that if you buy an ACSI card you get discount off peak at campsites.Does anyone know when off peak changes too peak in France ? Also does the card have any uses in peak season?

Thanks in advance Vlad.

The precise dates vary from site to site. Generally the ACSI Card is not accepted from early July to late August.

I suggest you have a look at some of the campsites on the ACSI web site to get a idea of the individual dates.

Used ACSI sites last September & all were off peak then.I don't think there is a set date it seems individual sites decide but from what I remember they were mostly within a week of each other.
I think if you avoid French school Holdays off peak will generally apply.

It's as others have already mentioned - each site determines when it will offer the ACSI discount. However, we found that in France the discount closed-season (mid-summer) can be as little as five weeks, but typically 7 or 8 weeks. :thumb:

Guess it depends on the location and popularity of the site.

We have used ACSI since we started motorhoming .. When we go away for summer hols, we leave about August 15th, and generally the card is good from the first week in September and the fee is MORE than covered in the first two days !!

Check out the individual site on the DVD or in the ACSI book.
It will tell you when ACSI is accepted site by site.
They do differ from site to site, but not greatly.
The card is great value for money.
