A visit to Bushmills distillery in Ireland (1 Viewer)

Easy parking ( very ) and worth a visit if you are 'in to' Whisky
However.. Do not buy the product there..
We bought a bottle of the 'normal' stuff and a one of the Black.
Day later we was in Asda and found it was more than 10% cheaper !!!

I once visited Bushmills with a gang of Irish mates,was chatting with my best mate there when we realized everyone had moved on with the tour guide!,shame it was only in the packing room

Spent a few days touring the Antrim coast a month or so ago but didn't visit the distillery this time..
Do they still ask for volunteers for whisky tasting sessions..
I have a certificate somewhere to say I contributed...but I wasn't driving that day

Did the distillery on a motorbike trip. We volunteered as tasters, needless to say there was no more riding that day.

Giants Causeway worth a visit. Park in the hotel carpark, not he actual "Causeway" one, as its a rip off.

yes GO,the "gobbins "is one you will not forget.
the giants causeway is a remarkable geological wonder and worth seeing,even though i object to the ludicrous fees.
But the gobbins cliff path is truly astounding!!
Well worth the journey and somedays it has that magical
wonderland feel, if they let you go on it, in a north east gale
it defies the senses.
pure magic.
