This is an intersting site, see the Vatican without the crowds..

This is the way to visit the Vatican. Avoiding the crowds of people is fantastic usually there are so many visitors there that it is hard to see all the beauty around you.

Ostentatious beyond belief!!!!

THE VATICAN
This is really something worth looking at. The technology involved is remarkable. As the instructions say, you can move around the areas with your mouse, moving left or right and up or down. You can also zoom in and out by clicking on the small plus and minus signs in the lower left side of the picture(s) or use the wheel on your mouse.. That aspect is not mentioned in the instructions. The clarity of the pictures remains surprisingly clear as you zoom in and you can pick out particular items to look at closely
INSTRUCTIONS: After you link on the site below and select an image and it appears,
then HOLD DOWN THE LEFT MOUSE BUTTON AND SLOWLY MOVE THE CURSOR
