Hi,
Well I better be honest and tell you that for 40 odd years I have always sworn that I would never ever be seen dead in a caravan, or in deed a motorhome.
But here I am!
I blame retirement and boredom.
I spent many years as an international trucker and a couple of years living on a narrowboat, so I am well used to living life in confined spaces with a lack of amenities.
When I retired I moved to Hungary where most things are cheaper, especially property. so I bought a large house just as they say 'because I could'.
It seemed like a good idea at the time, but it is amazing how soon having to walk so far to the kitchen for a cup of tea or the walk upstairs and from the bathroom to the bedroom gets to be irritating, Oh! did I forget to mention I am also inherently lazy!
So I have bought a second hand Benimar, 4 years old but only 20Km on the clock.
To prove I am a total novice, I was impressed with the 'as new' quality and totally failed to notice the previous owner had removed everything he could, solar panels, TV and dish, gas bottles, electric cable, hose pipe, you name it he took it!
So now I am busy making a shopping list.
But will go camping as soon as the van is again fit for purpose.
