Just taken at 9am this morning. In the Carpark at The Bridge Inn, Whorlton , Barnard Castle. Our stop over last night.
Had a lovely home cooked meal two courses for a tenner. Nice Theakstons . Open fire. Dogs welcome. If you eat in you can stay free! No facilities , just what we like!

Weather permitting , we are going up to Tan Hill Inn, Swaledale, this afternoon for a stop over. Before heading off up to Moffat Tuesday , for Hogmanay .

Had a look around Hamble in Hampshire today.very nice town but must buy a decent camera as the phone just doesn't do it justice

I think this is where we've seen off the IOW ferry, often go to the New Forest but this looks worth detour
