We stayed at this site which has loads of potential, much of it realised.
Having no co-ordinates or other details we headed for the eastern end of the port at Castellon. There is a planetarium and sports ground adjacent to the Aire to help locate it.
All facilities were free when we were there, including toilets, showers, water and the usual amenities. Most Motorhomes had opted to park outside the new place, choosing an extensive marked area for M/H's just to the east. A pleasant beach is adjacent and shops within 100 mtrs.
They look geared up to take a large number of vehicles in the future. We will call back

Had a look at this Aire last week. A bit stark, narrow pitches, water and drainage ok but awkward grey dump. Did not see any toilets or showers, but there is a kiosk-type toilet over the road. 48 hour max and " no tables or chairs allowed ".
However, the nearby carpark areas are packed with wild campers - it seems that in the winter, the local authority turn a blind eye. 50 yards from the beach.
They pop up to the Aire for water and dumping and rely on their solar panels for juice.
