Ever since we have had our 1993 Hymer we have had a large bubble on the outside skin at the rear. It looks like water ingress. The previous owner assured us it had been there all the time they had had the van (5 years) and had not grown in size and it did not smell of damp inside the van and the area opposite the bubble on the inside in the bathroom looked ok so did not give us too much cause for concern.
Having just decided to keep the van for another few years hubby removed the rear wall of the shower room to try to get to the bottom of the cause of bubble and repair it. He removed the large mirror on the rear inside wall and stuck a small screwdriver into the inside wall behind it to see if there was any damp present. There was a loud hiss and an escape of air from the hole and the bubble disapeared from the outside!
Everything back together again and look as good as new:thumb::thumb:
