Have,at last, fufilled a childhood dream and have bought a motorhome.

The main problem is that I am a complete novice and know nothing about motorhomes and the etiquette of motorcamping.I am sure that there will be loads and loads of questions that I will be posting so apologies in advance for being a pain!!

So before I begin would it be best to list all my questions in one post or ask them one at a time.

Please by gentle with me as this is my first go at using any forum !!

Hi and welcome.
Dont be worried about asking questions, they will be answered.
Mine have.
Lots of knowledgeable folk on here, with the odd smattering of nutters.
We've only been to two meets so far, met some great people and been made welcome by all.
The only etiquette seems to be .......just do it!

Welcome to fun
The only daft question is the one you didnt ask - thats the one that seemed so simple and straightforward but when it happens usualy at some time during darkness with a hooly blowing and the rain a lashing
So ask away there is always someone that will answer, we also have a chat room which is quite active of an evening with a friendly quiz on Thurday evenings

Hi and welcome, you have come to the right place to find out all you need to know. As you will have already discovered not everyone reads the question before they give the answer, though that adds to the fun.

You say you have loads of questions and should you ask them all at once or one at a time. I would reccomend you ask them in order of their importance to yourself and not any more than two questions at a time. That way you will receive a lot of focussed answers.

It is helpful to Funsters if we can have a name rather than a handle as it makes communications more personal and friendly.

Enjoy MHF and your new MH.

Welcome cakeboy. We are also fairly new - been doing it for just under a year now. you will get loads of support from the people on here. I know i have.

Ask away, and don't forget it might be that some of the answers might be specific to particular motorhome, so you might want to add a bit more detail to tell us what you have.

All the best

David

Hi Cakeboy!
Nice to have you join us!
I'll second Bob and Jane's recommendation for the rally at the end of May!::bigsmile:
£10 per person for the whole bank holiday weekend! Beat that!!!

-You could even slip away during the first night without losing too much cash if you think we are all deranged!!!! :roflmto:
