After a recent trip and with the low winter sun at the side making visibility difficult I decided to make my own sun blind .
Using a 60cm wide roller blind from the Range for £9.99 and a piece of aluminium angle from B&Q for £7.62 produced a fully height adjustable solution.

Outside view.

View from outside (bed part down) showing fixing to side of drop down bed, used this in preference to van side for ease of access and maintenance

View from driving position, blind will adjust to any height , but only covers sliding window so as not to obstruct mirror view.
A piece of 10mm threaded steel rod (all I had available) in bottom of blind to help prevent flapping , if a problem will modify.

Good idea. What did you need the ali angle for?

Its a 40mm angle with a 10mm return for rigidity. I used it to pre mount the roller blind end brackets , it was then easy to screw unit in place.
