Fancy a new Motorhome (or a spare one for all you rich buggers!). Then tune in to 'Lorraine' on ITV on weekday mornings this week to see details.

Who said Chick's TV is boring! Not that the industry needed it, but the programme item is a nice bit of PR for our lifestyle.

So; if you fancy a spanking new Bessacar, PLUS £25,000 tax free, all it will cost you is a £1.50 text (plus your standard network text rate).

Now tell me you don't like Bessie's, or the layout and you certainly ain't wasting 30 Bob on a no-hope competition. Come on you miserable lot, it's worth a punt? I'm in!!

Yeah, in my haste, I did forget to mention about the free entry online. However, I have the notion that they don't look at 'cheapskate' entries much. I forget the percentages, but I read on a competition forum that it's more unlikely that a winner would come from the online pool.

Anyway, you gotta be init2winit and what's thirty bob eh? Wouldn't even buy you a coffee!

Most if not all of these 'free' competitions are just a means to gather personal details for marketing purposes .. email , phone number, address etc .. and may well be sold on to a third party..
call me cynical .. but I don't trust them.. my personal details are worth more that 30 bob

I can't enter via text as my mobile is fully funded by my employer. Online it is, although I have entered 3 times!

Of course they are but so are a lot of other things. Facebook & Google are both good examples. The both make the vast bulk of their income from data harvesting. Have you ever noticed that if you search for a product on Google and view it a little while later adverts for that product will appear on your Facebook timeline. (Unless you have adblocker obviously)

There's a huge amount of personal data about all of us in the public domain already so does it really matter if someone else gets your email address and you get another half a dozen junk messages?

If you have someone's name it's not that difficult to find basic contact info for them. If you try a little harder it's quite scary what you can actually dig up.
It's worse for Americans, there's far more personal data in the public domain there than there is here.

I normally use an anonymous email address for stuff like this and my phone isn't registered in my name so the number is useless to anyone for marketing purposes.

Hope yours arrives soon Baz. Well, the MoHo was good-to-go. Awning out, a little tour of the interior, followed by the presenter eating a meal al fresco, then driving off.

If you didn't fancy Lorraine's comp' there's always the one on Loose Women . £60k's worth of Static. You can choose the location at any Park Resort site too. Just imagine..... PVC decking, flowers out the front and your names hanging in the window NICE
