A bit of a face lift for the cave

    I have decided to give the front end a bit of a face lift it has Ben looking a bit tired for the a while.
    I am going to do the bumper black just to give the old dear a new face
    Her are sum picks of what I have done today.

    First thing clean off all the crap Pant and a big hole appears

    Cut out the rust hole ends up bigger than expected r:crying:

    Welld in a pach forgotten how hard it is to weld laying down burnt through a few times.
    But happy with the result

    Bit of rust treatment and filer just waiting on it going off

    Sanded down the filer and primed it with the first coat
    The hole has gone

    Now to tacke the side bit thay will need striping back and plastic primer as the side bits are plastic
    Can't use sanding disk it looks like a hand rub Down.

    Does look a bit likethat. It is where the spare wheel can be fitted on some trucks. I looked for the simple reason that on mine I have a factory fitted welded bar in the centre to prevent anyone fitting the spare
    there ? Very odd.

    Getting the Pant off wat a pane but I now have one side done.
    Tryed Pant stiper on a bit that can't be seen the plastic don't like it
    Pant removed from plastic bumper heat gun and patience
    Done the job
