My nearside rear lens has a crack in it, looks like a stone or other missile!!!
Can anyone tell me what replacement I need to get, is it Swift unique, generic or Fiat?

Regards

I think the Kontiki of that vintage used the standard Ducato (chasis, not van) tail light cluster.

I can't post a direct link because the site is scripted, but if you go to

www.olearymotorhomes.co.uk

enter the shop, search by "Product Overview" then "Road Lights" you should find the standard Ducato tail lights towards the bottom of the page, allowing you a comparison.

If it is these, AFAIK the lens was not available from Fiat as a separate item, only the whole unit (for which a dealer is likely to charge more than the O'Leary price). It is, however, worth asking, and also trying Peugeot and Citroen dealesr, otherwise, I'd be inclined to search ebay or try a scrapper, such as www.vanspares.com for a price.

It occurred to me that VWP (a very useful source of all odd things vehicle related), sell similar units (I can't vough fot them being the same, but the dimensions are worth a check).

Had a quick look at them this morning and they seem to be black tinted, or dirty, and are rounded on the outside edges.
I'll take the part number off them when I get on site this evening and search and post Tuesday.

If they're rounded they don't sound like the original Fiat items.

(Fiat part no likely to be one of 7694676/7 or 7698773/4)

If they aren't, then the most likely (but not the only) posibility is that they are a Hella unit.

The current range (with pictures/part nos) can be accessed via the page:

http://www.hella.com/hella-com-en/3034.html

...and downloading the "Hella Product Overview : Caravans and Motorhomes"

Not cheap though  - I've just been to order a new headlamp unit for my 'van this morning. (Hence partially my interest in this thread)
