Looks like it going . This is the second one in 3 week's first had a problem connecting via WiFi so they gave me another after trying to sort it for about 4/5days,they said it had a WiFi problem so sent me another to replace it :thumb: Now got this new one and decided 7 ins is simply too small compaired to the 10 ins Samsung. It works as smooth as silk and probably as good if not better than the SS tab 2
The boss has said I can sell this and put the money towards another 10ins tablet so if anyone's got any suggestions on what to get without breaking the bank let me know. ----trying to remember who had a Ss 10 ins note for sale a few weeks back

Shirl wanted to buy me an 8.9 kindle fire HD....

I said no and bought a samsung 3 tablet for the same money.
And it isnt tied to Amazons crap silk browser

I had 3 fires since last christmas.....first two replaced by Amazon after they failed to charge or boot and the third is going the same way, sometimes charging, more often not.

Kindle readers are good...kindle tablets are rubbish.

Don't hold back not selling on here
Amazons customer service is good - silk browser is simple to bypass all you do is go to devise and allow from other sauces :thumb:

agreed, amazon service is second to none.....but they have a well documented problem with charging issues.

Rang about my frst failure and was talked through the 'hold ff button for minimum 20 seconds then restart' fix....nothing happened so a return authorised.
2 days later a new one arrived.
Charged that two times wh3n down to 15% remaining charge, after those two charges it wouldnt charge or boot.
Rang and explained, they checked my account and without further question sent a second replacement.

I hadnt even posted the first one back at that point as you have 30 days from reciept of the replacement in which to return the broken one or accept liability for the full cost of the replacement.

I think the promise is better than the delivery

Settings are a pain to access intuitively

Bearing in mind I'm a numpty technology wise

This being my first aneroid product
Although the machine is working fault free at present
I used bing as a search engine and had problems
( returned it eventually to google when I realised it was bings fault)
Couldn't tick smileys or cross off likes
When I posted a clip from y tube via apple
It showed as I wanted but viewed on the kindle
The screen was there but no view of the content( no red arrow)
Also on bing when typing it had a yellow square appear
And wouldn't allow clicking to open ( smileys likes silly things that annoying)
When using I pad I phone mac or my Microsoft dell no similar probs

I wonder if it's what has been removed by amazon to point
It back to amazon so they have a greater control

And the mail is less readable on the kindle
Sometimes the pages spill,eg bits of words missing on sentence ends

I have only once managed to get the mail to read in landscape view
I get annoyed reading in portrait view writing is to small
Yes I know you can resize but then it's another pain longer pages
But in landscape wouldn't have the prob

At the moment mrs t reads the paper on the kindle
And I use my I pad
Got this as my battery is beginning to fail on the pad
After a blooming good hammering by me
most stuff is done on the pad except the Thursday quiz
No chance on the pad with it ,could just follow it on the kindle
And answer questions if only I knew the answers!!!

It's not been a pleasant experience for me
    Others may find it better
But then many would say the same of the I pad
If we all liked the same things life would be boring
I haven't found any other probs but then I know only read the paper
On it that's the other thing the mail app loads the first time on in the morning
Dosnt wait for you to ask it to load it's just plain rude!

    So all in all
I would need a lot of persuading to think of another android type
    Machine

I will probably inherit mrs t mini pad and buy her a new mini pad
    When this one is finished
