Hmmm ok here goes, was bit concerned as different advice regarding the C&CC,RAC Arrival scheme.

So last days I rang RAC, spoke to a nice young lady, who was probably in a non english call centre, explained that we have a 5th wheeler 33 feet long 8 feet wide, towed by a 20 foot american pick so when conected 50 feet long.
and that they say on the web site no restrictions!

All going well i thought and my last words to her was so I am covered am I.
Yes sir you would be fully covered.

Great Put down phone had a cup of tea and a fag then thought hmm still dont believe them.

So I email RAC and explained the same, received email yesterday from the RAC saying Contact the C&CC to find out the restrictions! Arrrrrrgh:Doh:

So I did, email the C&CC and sent them copys of the emails to and from the RAC.

Today I had 2 emails 1 from the RAC operations manager saying that 5vers are covered no restriction. 1 email from C&CC also saying that we are covered fro our 5ver.

So I have laminated both emails and will carry them. We are also going to buy a wheel clamp so should we happen to breakdown while debbie is talking to the breakdown guy and showing him the emails i will sneak around the back of his recovery and clamp him:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

thats nice to know, they seem to have changed their tune when i did my indepth probing a couple of years ago i was told any specialist equipment requirred would be charged for, as in something to move the 5ver if the truck brokedown as they could not tow the truck and 5ver as recovery apart from moving a short distance to a safe parking area off the motorway.
