we have a 4 berth Hymer, well it was meant to be 4 berth. But the double made up of cushions wasn't big enough more of a single. The issue was the funny gap that couldn't be filled. I tried every combination. So in the end we bought s plank of wood and a foam insert. This with a mattress topper makes a good size double. We only need it for the odd occasion.
In the photo the blue foam is new and it sits on a blank of wood that slides under the cushions.
