3 switches ?????????? (1 Viewer)

Hi ive got 3 switches inside the door just beside the steps on my 1998 damon ,one does the step a second does the porch light and the third ?????? does nothing or does it???? does anyone know the answer.

It could be a locker light switch, but they normally have a lit switch to remind you they are on. Or it might be a secondary switch for one or two interior lights so that you can light the van before you get in, you need to experiment with that and see if you can turn lights off with it, then when you come in you can turn them on.

If it is off at the door the lights it`s coupled up to will not switch on at the lights....oh:

And even changing all the bulbs dont help...

If off at door they are off and bulbs have not blown..

I would go witth Larryh on that one

II would go with Larryh on that one.. the master kill switch for the battery.. Normally makes a noise when it is closed or opened to warn you. or what about electric step switch - override?

many thanks for the replys after doing some fiddling i found it operates like a two way switch for a lamp above the dash,also operable from a dash switch.
