Our 3 sim and MiFi has failed to connect throughout France and now Spain.

Friend of mine had same problem on his first trip,,told me he had to plug it into a computer to activate it for overseas. He reckons no one in his local 3 shop knew this,,,Its working brilliant overseas now,,,BUSBY.

Not wishing to steal the thread but...can I just check .

I've got an unlocked TP-Link MIFI that I've been using with EE in the UK...no problems.

Head off through France to Spain next month...have a 12g '3' data sim that I've tested and registered with '3' and ticked the UK and Abroad on my account.

Should that all work ok...he asks tentatively .

A tip...

If you use the phone app to check connection/usage etc...

Go to the "short-cut" and "reboot" if you seem to loose tinternet or it gets slow or stuck on re-fresh etc...

Works for my E5573s-320

So long as your mifi is unlocked the 3 sim should work in it without a problem.

For decent coverage you really need a mifi with a dedicated aerial.
