I have a Wileyfox mobile which is dual sim so was wondering if the 3 data sim would work solely for tethering as my O2 sim can be used for calls. Wold it work bored wold it throw a wobbly when fitted in a phone?

We have a 3 data SIM in an old Samsung Note phone and it works fine for data and tethering.

I can't see why it wouldn't work in fact we've used a 3 data sim in our phablet without any problems which is just a 'big' phone really ... the one thing you can't do though is use a phone sim in a mifi as they 'know' you're doing it and can stop it working apparently!

In my opinion you have the perfect set up.
Yes it will work...just switch between sims.

Three used not to allow tethering on PAYGO?. (Nor did EE/T-Mobile/Orange) Which is something I do regularly on the GiffGaff system.

They do now for most of their packages, except the cheaper ones.

With a data sim it is. Not with a phone sim though.

You have to tether with a data sim as usually you have it in a MiFi unit which is useless without tethering to some device be it phone or tablet.
